Do you really have to ask that question? I don't know how old you are but the pastor who gave the prayer is older than you or I. And what he has had to endured during his lifetime is more than what you or I had to deal with in our days. More than likely, you have only read in history books how black people were treated back in the day. This man was part of that history as well as his ancestory. Back in the day, whites felt more superior to blacks, as well as Indians. Blacks were slaves to whites, indians and any other groups. Being black was considered the lowest class of people to other racial groups. They did not want any to learn how to read or write. For years, white men would rape their black women slaves and the black women would also breast feed the white children. And then had to be called names that weren't even given to them by their parents. I am not saying this to justifiy what the pastor spoke of but you have to understand and realize what he was talking about when he spoke those words. This is a time when we all can be considered equal and no longer judge by the color of one skin. Again, Obama should not be judge by the color of his skin but he is a man first. Our country really lack real true men. There are so few; and this younger generation need to learn early what being a man is all about, don't you think?

Your persistent (and incorrect) use of political labels on people that have opposing viewpoints shows that you're guilty of being incapable of original thought. I'll enjoy reading your comments as time passes; thanks in advance for the great entertainment!
